UPDATE ~ December 1, 2015

Our family had to make a tough decision this week. Buck and Mae are heading to Florida for the winter because of his breathing challenges with pulmonary fibrosis. He continues to fight bone cancer and his immune system is very compromised. Because we want him to have the best quality of life possible, we realize he simply needs to be in a warmer climate with therapeutic sea air.

Will you please continue to lift up Buck and Mae as this precious man of God teaches so many of us how to walk by faith? For those of you who have endured or witnessed the challenges of cancer you are well aware of the physical, emotional and financial toll it takes.

UPDATE ~ August 25, 2015

Dear Friends,

We wanted to let you know the battle with Buck Rambo's stage 4 bone cancer and prostate cancer has intensified the last couple of weeks. He has been diagnosed with blood clots in both his lungs and left leg. He has an amazing team of doctors and medical professionals at a local Nashville hospital working to treat him while he wars this dreaded disease.

Buck continues to teach us; he ministers to every doctor, nurse and technician who enters his room. To be totally honest, it is one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. No one wants to see their loved ones suffer, but we have circled the prayer wagons and stand united in the strength and faith of our loving God. We still believe Jesus is the Great Physician!

His beloved wife, Mae, faithfully shares your cards and words of encouragement with Buck. If you have a moment to send him a note it would be so special and meaningful. When each of us brings our precious cup of water the blessings overflow...

Dear Friends,

There's never an easy way to share difficult news but you all have been a part of so many joys, tears, valleys and triumphs with our family over the years and I wanted to ask for your prayers as we walk through this challenge. My dad, Buck Rambo, has been fighting a private battle with cancer over the last several months. Throughout the diagnosis, doctor's visits, radiation and chemotherapy, dad has been and remains a fighter. He knows the Great Physician and has experienced healing many times in his life. He is truly an inspiration to us all.

His precious wife Mae is such a kind, loving and faithful caregiver. She and Dad will be coming back home to Nashville from his treatments in Florida at the end of this month. Please believe with us for complete healing, wisdom, strength, favor and everything extra that is necessary to accommodate him at this time.

Please lift up all our family as we walk by faith through this difficult season. Jesus is guiding each step of the way.
